How We Handle Your Data

Your data, in plain language

This page explains what we collect when you visit, why we collect it, who else can see it and how you can control or delete it. We keep this short and specific on purpose. We run an informational review site, we don't sell products, and we don't hold accounts or take payments, so the amount of data we handle is small.

You can read every article here without giving us your name, your email or any account details. The data we do gather is mostly technical and is used to keep the site working and to understand, in aggregate, which pages people find useful.

What we collect

There are two ways data reaches us. The first is automatic, the second only happens if you choose to contact us.

• Server and analytics data: your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and rough approximate location derived from the IP. This is standard for almost any website.
• Cookies and similar storage: small files used for essential functions, for anonymous analytics, and to remember preferences such as a cookie choice. Our cookie policy lists them in detail.
• Anything you send us: if you email us or use a contact form, we receive your email address, your message and whatever else you include in it.

We do not ask for or store payment details, government IDs, or gambling account credentials. If a form ever asks for more than an email and a message, it will say why.

Why we use it

Each piece of data has a purpose, and we don't collect data "just in case".

• To serve and secure the site, load pages, block abuse, and diagnose errors.
• To measure, in aggregate, which articles are read so we can improve them. We look at trends, not individuals.
• To reply to you when you get in touch.
• To meet legal obligations and keep basic records where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

We use a lightweight, privacy-minded analytics setup to count visits and see which pages perform. Where analytics cookies aren't strictly necessary, we ask for your consent first and you can decline without losing access to any content. Third parties

A few outside services touch data in the course of running the site. We keep the list lean.

• Hosting and content delivery providers that store the site and serve it quickly, and which process server logs on our behalf.
• Analytics that produce aggregate visit statistics.
• Licensed casinos we link to: if you click through and then visit or register with them, they collect their own data under their own policies, which we don't control. Read theirs before you deposit.

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't share it for someone else's advertising.

How long we keep it

Server logs and analytics are kept only as long as they're useful and are then deleted or anonymised. Emails you send are kept while a conversation is open and for a reasonable period after, then removed. We don't hoard data we've stopped using.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop certain processing. You can also withdraw analytics consent whenever you want. To exercise any of these, email us through the contact page and we'll respond within a reasonable time. There's no charge for a normal request.

Children

This site covers real-money gambling and is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has contacted us, tell us and we'll delete the record.

Changes and contact

We update this policy when our practices change, and the latest version always lives at this address. If a change is significant, we'll make it obvious on the page. Questions about your data go to us through the contact page, and we'll answer plainly.
